Shoulder Rig for SIG-P226

Post by jadedone4 »

Can anyone recommend a NYLON Shoulder Rig for a SIG-P226?

It must be NYLON because this is the carrier that I'll use when in sweats working-gear (i.e. clothes without a belt-loop).

I bought a nylon IWB setup from these folks at the Chantilly show last weekend and I really like it. They had a lot of nylon should rigs as well and they seemed to have a good handle on the products that they were selling.

OK, had a few moments over the weekend, decided to hit Dominion Arms (Centerville Rd/28); placed was "off-beat" but the customer service was great. Found a shoulder-rig (nylon) and a soft case for either a shotgun (which I have) and the AR (which I will be building). Both products by BullDog....

On talking with the staff, told them that I didn't have a clip-on holster, asked what I had; the guy reached back and pulled spare clip and told me to take it (no charge); fits another belt-loop holster that I have had since 95, collecting dust.

Prices we reasonable and the staff knowledgable - place allows smoking so my new gear smells a bit (but that isn't an issue for me, as I smoke cigars), they'll get my business....

I use a blackhawk and one from elite survival systems. Both seem to be the stuff to get.

Valor Gear vendor at Chantilly gun show

Post by GlockGirl »

I just wanted to alert folks to watch out when dealing with Valor Gear. My first contact was at the Dulles Expo Gun show in May 2010 when I purchased a conceal carry laptop bag from them. They had me pay and then wanted to customize for me and would mail to me...it took weeks to get, then it was not right, I returned it and it was received by them on Jun 7. I have yet to receive my $160 refund; and I write to them on a weekly basis. I am now taking the matter to the sponsors of the gun show to stop them from being a vendor. Let the buyer beware.
