Mountable Handgun Holster
I came across this today while browsing around and it looks like a pretty cool idea. Price is $59.00 for either top or side mount.

I like it. But, I wouldn't want to drill holes in anything on the inside of my car or truck to screw the mount in...
I would put something like that next to my bed, or maybe even attached too my bed.

I've thought of building something like this before. I don't really like the location he has it in, too low. Also, that looks like a soft holster. When I was looking into doing this, I was thinking a hard holster with good retention device (like the blackhawk holsters at Gander Mountain) would work best. Gave up when I realized I really needed something like this instead:
