Where to shoot cap and ball revolvers!?

Post by novashooter91 »

Hey,
I have a cap/ball revolver coming in the mail as we speak. The only issue is the NRA wont allow you to use muzzleloaders...Is there anywhere in Nova where I can legally shoot this thing? Thanks

Maybe some of the public shooting ranges:http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/hunting/shootingranges.asp

Let me know how it goes, maybe shoot a video too. I think they would be cool to have.

Does Clark Bros. allow black powder? Could be iffy since you're supposed to buy your ammo from them...

I know you can shoot BP at clubs in Richmond and Charlottesville, but those require membership, or being a guest of a member.

Yes, you can at Clark Bros. I see C/B pistol shooters there all the time, as well as rifle muzzle loaders. Just have to buy the targets and powder, etc, there.
