Maybe not their biological child but to many stepdads that doesn't mater it's their child.GS78 wrote:well maybe so, but in that case they wouldn't be raising "their" child.Taggure wrote:I think what he ment was the fact that a birth Father and Step Father raising their childGS78 wrote:http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-off ... athers-day

Why can't you remember when Obama said to the gays, "I will not only be your friend, I will continue to be an ally and a champion and a president who fights with you and for you."KaosDad wrote:C'mon folks...not everything that comes out of bho's pie hole is an inspiration of Satan. If you take that tact you will loose ALL credibility. Why can't we see this (useless) proclamation for what it is? A feel good bit of rhetoric that tries to tie him in with "all American Dads"?
He's probably seeking the support of the gay rights community because he's lost it. They've been rather displeased with their erstwhile savior.TheGodfather wrote:Why can't you remember when Obama said to the gays, "I will not only be your friend, I will continue to be an ally and a champion and a president who fights with you and for you."
The gay marriage issue has been hotter than ever in the past year and Obama just HAPPENS to include two "dads" in his Father's Day speech. I'm seeing this speech for exactly what it is. I mean can you honestly believe that his two "dads" comment had NOTHING to do with seeking the support of the gay community? Spare me...
And this is where you reveal that you've been completely brainwashed by the PC society that wants everyone to think there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. They've pounded the message into your head enough times through various ways that you now find yourself repeating the mantra. When in reality, homosexuality is nothing less than immoral and perverted.KaosDad wrote:You see this as a gay rights issue, that's fine, I think you're off base. If it IS a gay rights issue, then so what? I know too many gay guys and lesbian women IN UNIFORM that have served this Country admirably. I also think if folks had any clue the offices held by gays (and I am not talking about clowns like Frank) their heads would explode.
Eh, no. Go back & read. My thoughts on this issue are gained from personal experience, not dogma or mantra by someone else telling me what is right & not right. I would love to debate this further but you have shown yourself as a closeminded type on this matter. If Sgt. Bill has another SnG, you should wander on over.TheGodfather wrote:And this is where you reveal that you've been completely brainwashed by the PC society that wants everyone to think there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. Hardly closeminded. I've just had more personal experience than you. I attended a University where one out of every three guys was a homo. (Not to mention, one of my cousins is a homo.) After four years of that, I have no problem calling ALL of them immoral and perverted.KaosDad wrote:Eh, no. Go back & read.
