Range 82

Post by Leonidis »

I've been doing a lot of shooting at "The Range" in Stafford but have been looking into joining a range where I can get outdoors and enjoy the weather at the same time. Been thinking about the Izaak Walton league in Stafford, but was also intrigued by Range 82's facilities, which almost match what I was trained on initially. The pics on the website for R82 look great, but there don''t seem to be many windows when I can go there with my Glock. Says Saturday from 12-3 and then it switches over to rifles. Its also closed on Sunday. Since I usually pass R82 on my way back from work on Fridays, would be a nice start to my weekend.

So, does R82 really have such limited windows of time? Just trying to figure out if the $250 membership is a better deal then what I'd get from IWL. Thanks.

Yep, those are their hours. Very limited, which is why I wont join. I would like to, but I can always tell every sat am will be free, or whatever. When I have the time, I want to be able to go and :pistol:

Thanks. When I read it I thought there must be some mistake, one three hour window on Saturday? Hopefully in the future they'll do some expansion that will make joining for me cost effective.

Cheers

Leonidis, if you want a tour of the facilities at the IWLA let me know. I'm a member and would be happy to show you around.
