Hi everyone,

Glad to be a new member of this forum.

Currently a member of Silver Eagle Group in Ashburn. Can't say enough good things about them.
Completed my Handgun 103 class today: Intro to Competition. Would like to join and shoot IDPA matches.

Looks like there are a lot of other Ashburn people on this forum as well. I just visit from Oakton.

SOOOO glad I moved from Maryland a few months back. Talk about a gun unfriendly state!

Anyway, look forward to reading the topics as well as contributing my knowledge.

Buying a gun in Maryland: 45 minutes of paperwork, wait a week, pick up gun and fill out another 20 minutes of paperwork.

Buying a gun in Virginia: Priceless (if you don't watch TV you will not get the innuendo). Seriously, 10 minutes :wave:

Time to get CHP (Concealed Handgun Permit) in Maryland....oh wait...you can't conceal!
