or a quarry. I miss shooting cans and 'stuff'. Remember when we were kids and we could shoot at something other than a piece of paper ('with a PICTURE of a tin can on it??? OMG!!)
Anyone know a place a bit off a gravel road where people can still fire their weapons without being in an enclosed box with artifical light, aiming at a piece of paper stapled onto a cardboard holder EXACTLY 7.0 yards away?
What happened to the days when MEN were MEN and so were the women??
looking for a dump...
looking for a dump...
The day they outlaw firearms is the day I become a criminal.

There's always the Cove campground, up in Winchester or some such northern corner of the Commonwealth.
I think certain sections of San Francisco are still like that.vt800c wrote:What happened to the days when MEN were MEN and so were the women??

Ah yes, the good ole days of going to the dump...used to do that in Arizona...well not the dump but the "landfill." [PC sure does suck] The county let us shoot crows and there were literally hundreds of them...actually not crows but ravens...they apparently didnt know the difference...
I miss kicking the boxes at the dump when I was a kid and shooting the rats with a .22 rifle...some good times...and when I was a kid we were dirt poor...well actually poorer than that and spent some time at the dump...you could find some neat stuff there...surprising what people throw away...

No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

Bred, born, and still redneck...if you're parents are rednecks you will be too unless they get some silly notion to send you off to school in San Fransisco...and we always left the dump with more than what we came with...vt800c wrote:Jeff Foxworthy said "You may be a redneck if you come back from the landfill with more stuff than you left with."zephyp wrote:...you could find some neat stuff there...surprising what people throw away...
