A Stinking Disgrace...

I wont post any links or quotes, but I find it a stinking disgrace that the obama administration rushes to the Gulf of Mexico over a leaking oil rig and wont do squat about the crisis on the border...except criticize the AZ governor...

This administration is turning America into something evil and nasty. They are perverting our way of life and everything this country stands for...

I honestly believe our country is at a cross road and am not sure that we on the right will ever regain control. I also honestly believe that the liberals have "seized" control and they will not quietly relinquish it, if at all, even if they lose in a land-slide election this November...

I am certain some of you have labeled me as a nay-sayer, but be that as it may. I am a realist and tend to call things how I see them. You can polish a turd, put a coat of shellac on it, and even write a paper about it. At that point some will look and say "hey, thats a great looking sausage you got there..." but in the end it is still a turd...

If I am wrong come next January and a new congress is seated then I will offer apologies. Otherwise I will not say I told you so...I will merely find a quiet corner and cry for our country and the way it used to be...

DK you never have to apologize for the convictions you beleive in. I hope the Congress is reborn after this election myself and if not I'll just figure out away to continue opposing it. There is no way we can allow the bastards to win, They need to be defeated and sent back to the closets and fantasy land of liberal pinheads never to be seen again.

Continued forward movement it the direction this country is going in needs to be stopped and as you say we will see what happens in Jan 2011. But, there is a fundamental problem and I really think that the current president is only the figure head or puppet for the true cause of our current direction. That is why it is so important to get everyone that you know to get out and Vote this election and get the power hungry out of office. I know I have always talked about the way the Constitution provides for peaceful transition of power through elections but if something comes into play that breaks the process then that is a whole new dilemma to ponder.

@Vern - I too believe there is more behind obama's rise to power than anyone cares to recognize...a few elite and rich come to mind...and yes, our Constitution clearly dictates the system for "change" in our country but it is only a piece of paper...the power behind the Constitution is we the people...
