I was watching a program on the History Channel about how they prevent avalanches. They had a 105mm recoilless rifle mounted in the back of a U-Haul-sized truck. You could actually see the shock wave coming off the rear of the gun every time it was fired. And, they were using Korean war era shells. All of which fired without a problem. Now that would be a cool job
