Hannity's Stimulus Watch

Post by zephyp »

No joke. Hannity reports tonight that $200,000 stimulus dollars were given to professors at some university to study why men dont like to use condoms. Hannity responds that for the price of a six pack you can to any bar in America and find that answer... :hysterical:

I took an evening when the "stimulus" package was first released to review some of the things that were in it. It was amazing. Or better yet disheartening. The amount of money that was handed out to projects that was supposed to get the economy moving was incredible. I was amazed at what the govt believes would work. I'm still trying to figure out how money given to a group of professors studying my toilet paper usage is going to create jobs and get things moving. I'm just a firm believer that simply cutting taxes, lowering the payroll tax and putting money back in the hands of the people is the way go. Apparently I'm way off base.

We're all way off base because we ascribe to the tenets of the Constitutional principles that our countries (yes, plural) were founded on and have been defiled and debauched through successive iterations of Marxist, progressive (progressive liberalism and yes, progressive conservativism), centrist federal government interference.

Over a century this has gone on. If we reverse the trend at the same rate it has taken over, we will all be long dead before any "America" is restored to resemble what we believe in.

Or, at the very least, what I believe in. Not to put words in anyone's mouth or imply, by any stretch, that I speak for all here present.
