It's almost that time of year to bag some spring gobblers. While I really like the fiber optic open sights on my Mossberg 835, I've been entertaining the idea of optics. Anyone using optics on their turkey gun? If so, what are you using and how do you like it?
I've got an EOtech 552 on one of my AR's I could try. I'm also looking at conventional red dot sights and perhaps a low power scope such as the Nikon Monarch.
What say you fellow turkey hunters?
Almost turkey season - optics on my turkey gun?

I had a red dot on my 935, used it for one season. It worked great but to me added a little too much extra bulk. Now it's just open sites.

I am undecided if I will use a 20 ga/22 LR combo gun with shotgun scope or my open site 12 ga auto. the scope is a Simmons 1.5-5x. I've never shot it, but I will soon to zero it in.
Another thing about getting ready for turkey season is camo, I am in the market to buy some, and I found this article which some may already know about:
