Just Back from Duracoat!

Post by JoshX3 »

Just got my AR back from the amazing people at Conlee Custom Camo. They really did a ridiculously great job on my AR and, shamelessly, I'm here to show it off. Hope everyone likes. Lord knows I do! :)

Look for an interview with and article on Will Conlee, owner of Conlee Custom Camo, in the next issue of HuntX3 Magazine, which will hit the streets at HuntX3.com in just a few days!

FYI if anyone is down with the duracoat and wants to get in touch with Conlee, his website is CustomGunCamo.com

Hope everyone has a great day!

Very nice. Multi-Cam variant? How long did it take.

The grip looks like it is rubber.

Looks great. Why didn't you do a magazine or two to match?

Thanks for all the responses guys! I was so excited when I got it back from Conlee Custom Camo that I really was giddy when I cut the box open! lol

They advised me against doing the Ergo pistol grip due to the softer, more rubbery nature of its composition, as the Duracoat, they said, might have a little more tendency to flake if they went ahead and did it, so I told them not to worry about it.

As you can see, I sent them the Tapco polymer mag with the rifle to do, but that's a good point, I should have sent the rest of my magazines. But then, that might have made them keep the rifle longer and I needed it back for a photoshoot for the next issue of HuntX3 magazine, which debuts with an article about Conlee and his skills on Tuesday.

He's getting my Romanian AK and probably my Saiga .308 next. :)

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Josh
