hunting within 2 hours of VA Beach?

Post by gunsliner1985 »

this is a far cry from knocking on doors, and offering labor for a place to hunt, but i am really interested in a place to hunt, well anything? i have tried all of the public places like chicohominy but not much luck, i would love a place for me and my hunting partner to shoot some squirrels, coyotes, deer, i guess anything legal! i would drive a couple hours from va beach, and throw in some work of course, i am a very ethical responsible shooter just stuck out here in the Navy and looking for a good spot! also if it helps i ahve a couple guns to lend, if you want to come along! , and reload my own rifle and pistol ammo if that would help anyone out who has a spot for me! let me know!

kinda surprised, no one on here has more coyotes, squirrels, racoons, or varmints than they can shoot? I am not looking for a spot to drink busch light and shoot the windows out, just a place to responsibly call and shoot some varmints, crow even! and clean up after myself, i guess you can call me old fashioned, but i would even do some manual labor in return?!
