I am very excited that my lovely wife is joining me at the range for the first time tomorrow morning. Having grown up in notoriously anti-gun New Jersey, she has been reluctant--but also a little curious. Finally, she asked if she could try Silver Eagle. I gave her a good safety course tonight. She is going to start with a .22, then I'll let her try .38 special, then .357 magnum.
We'll save the 9mm for next time--don't want to overwhelm her. There's something attractive about a lady who knows how to handle a firearm. Maybe I just spent too much time staring at Agent Scully on the X-Files in the early '90s!
Anyway, I'm happy to have joined this forum.
