Supposed to be more snow on Monday of next week...
No, please no !!!!!!!!
Our neighborhood is last on the list for the plows. Yesterday it took me almost 2 hours to get the car down the hill so we could park it on a street where they do plow first. My truck, which was first in the driveway, is buried - again. Now, I have to shovel again and dig the car out first thing in the morning before the plows bury it...

Here are some pics of global warming around my house...pictures are captioned. The last icicle pic is one over 4 feet long. I'm gonna see if it will reach all the way to the deck...

Young's car is the white lump behind the other white lump.
Close up of the car.
Here's where I stared tracking the icicles on the deck
Here's a little while later.
And later.
And later....the longest icicle is about 4 1/2 feet long.
Deer drags are good to bring the salt and groceries up the hill where the car wont go...

Yeah, I love snow but jeez, this is twice in the same year I have slid my car into a ditch. I did so the storm after the first "big snow" back in December on my way to the range. I was in 1st doing as slow as I could without stalling going down a hill with a sharp curve(the only way out of my area), no matter what I did, I would have hit something, luckily I was able to aim the car into the curve and get away with just putting it in a ditch rather than head first into an embankment or a rock outcropping. No damage, just a $75 tow.
Tonight I decided to survey the road conditions, and guess what, they stink. I couldn't make it up the hill on my road, so I put it in reverse, went to the bottom, gave it a running start, still couldn't. Tried it a few more times because at this point I was kind of having fun. Finally give up after probably a half dozen attempts and at best getting around 25' from the top and just spinning. So after my final run I was backing down and I guess all my tracks were slick, because as I backed down the hill, the ass end swung around and went into a giant snow bank. Go me. At least I added towing to my insurance after the last incident. Kinda stupid having to get pulled when I can almost see my roofline from where I got stuck.
More snow monday? Great, I've already watched the Shining again on my 6th consecutive day at home, I don't know if I can handle another long stint in the house, otherwise hides the axes.
@Nick - I dug the car out on Tuesday and parked it at the bottom of our hill. I still need to walk down and survey what needs to be done to get it out. Hopefully not a lot, but it aint coming back up the hill until they plow my street...

You know you've had enough winter when you see this:
