Thanks, guys. I opted for a 10mm Delta Elite instead of the traditional .45 - something about a 180gr bullet doing ~1350 fps or a 135 grainer doing 1600 fps that was just calling my name... :clap:

and where are you getting your 10mm? online or local?

Ah, I'd love to make it but that's a stretch for me... Maybe later in the year I can make it up that way, it's a 4+ hour drive up...

I got a load of practice ammo from ammunitiontogo.com - it's not full power stuff, but it's reloadable...they're out of stock now. The full power stuff I got from doubletapammo.com... waiting for it to warm up to go blow up some targets... :clap:

Went to the range with my dad this morning... tested out the Colt while I was there... still pulling a few to the right... that's only at about 8 yards, standing...

But it's still new to me... I put a few full power loads through it - gobbled them up with no problem, and actually doesn't have quite the kick I thought it might... I'm loving it so far! Hope to get the groups in tighter, but I was losing brass over the firing line, and didn't want to give the range too much of my 10mm brass! Can't wait till it warms up...

Good deal. And yes one thing I dislike about indoor ranges. You lose too much brass. 9mm doesnt bother me much but .380 does alot and .45 too...
