Hey there,
I have just bought my first surplus rifle and it should be here in about a week. I picked up a K98 for an OK price. I have never owned a firearm before and I want to keep it in the best shape possible. I've been reading up on cleaning techniques etc. But they seem to vary. what would be the most cost efficient way to keep my gun in tip top shape? I had one fella tell me to not waste my cash on solvents, but rather to use boiling water.Any good cleaning kit and accesory suggestions? Good tips in general? I would be thankful for any advice that might save me from making stupid mistakes. Thanks so much,
Geoff
