I'd like to get some primers for the future but I have no clue about what I need at this point.

I want to reload .380ACP, 9mm, .45ACP, .223, 7.62x54R, and 7.92x57.

Are primers somewhat generic or are there too many options to get a simple answer on what I should get.

Sorry for the newb reloading question.

For those calibers you need small pistol (380, 9mm), large pistol (.45), small rifle (223). Not sure what the other need. There are several kinds and each has a purpose.

Basically:

Small pistol - .25ACP - .38 (I think)
Small pistol mag - .357
Large pistol - rest
Large pistol mag - .44 mag, etc
Small rifle - not sure where these stop but someone else will
Large rifle
Shotgun

Your loading manual should give you a primer for each caliber and load. The book is your best friend.

You'll need large rifle too.

I ordered a couple of bricks back on Wednesday and it looks like they are still in stock as of Sunday . A few weeks back I ordered two bricks and there were sold out of the CCI sp/sr that same day. I ordered another brick and its due for delivery this coming week. Maybe supply is starting to catch back up with demand (fingers crossed).

I'm wondering if we outta do a group buy on bullets as well (without violating any forum rules). I'd be in for a few boxes of .40s&w, 9mm, .355 & .224 fmj
