New Years Day Deer

I took this one Friday afternoon. 7 point but a decent size deer. Close shot, about 60 yards. He took a 150 grain Seirra through the left shoulder. He was even nice enough to run and drop right on the edge of a logging road making it easier for me.

Rick I'm just lucky. Lucky enough to fill almost two freezers this season. This deer got turned into all sausage, got it back yesterday.

DK he's a little bigger than the one the game warden found in the back of that dodge, don't you think ? :hysterical:

Yeah, that little doe was hardly worth skinning much less shooting. Maybe they were desperate cause they hadnt seen anything else all season except turkeys, squirrels, rabbits, coons, and weird looking birds... :whistle:
