FCM

Post by MrRvo »

it stands for firearms collection manager, its a simple to use program for keeping track of all your guns, and is a free download. all you have to do is go to download.com and search for firearms collection manager, it allows you to put all the details about the gun in and also has a section for notes about the gun and a place incase you sell it you can put the date and name of the person, i use that program as well as i have pictures of every gun i have and have sold or traded, along with bill of sales just to cover my end. but i recommend the program just for its ease of use and it being free.

I have to say I think it sounds interesting too. I'll look at it. Not that I have an arsenal or anything. But keeping good records of your firearms could also benefit you in cases where you need to make insurance claims.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Call me paranoid, but I just use plain old excel to manage stuff like this. Don't like the idea of SW potentially "phoning home" or said on-line database being shared.
