The real story behind this was that the democrats knew this wasnt going to pass so they "allowed" some dems to vote YES for it. Please be aware that both our senators have their own personal and political agenda which does not line up with ours. IMHO both webb and warner are liberal twits through and through.
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

I'm sure Warner will vote however the wind blows Virginia. But I have to disagree with you about Webb. He didn't just vote for national CCW reciprocity, he took to the floor of the Senate arguing vehemently for it. Here's one of his statements on 2A:zephyp wrote:The real story behind this was that the democrats knew this wasnt going to pass so they "allowed" some dems to vote YES for it. I’m a strong supporter of the Second Amendment; I have had a permit to carry a weapon in Virginia for a long time; I believe that it’s important; it’s important to me personally and to a lot of people in the situation that I’m in to be able to defend myself and my family."

I dont have a lot of respect for a US senator who says they support gun rights and then carries one into the capitol building. That doesnt add up. He may say he supports 2A rights and have cast some votes for it but look at his voting record in general. He is a liberal democrat. Supports health care reform and cap/trade. I dont trust him or warner.
