I've had several 22's my favorite was a Sears and Roabuck 22 single shot that my grandson now has. My new favorite is this Savage Mark II. A bolt and a scope gives me a warm fuzzy :hysterical:

MuShu here, with a 17 Mach II. The magazine is the same as the 22LR, so that makes them the same right? I'm just messing. Don't hate on me now boys.

My GSG-5

Love this little rifle! I actually just reviewed it in the first issue of HuntX3 magazine ( www.HuntX3.com ). It's a shame they won't be made anymore.

And here it is after I swapped the red dot for a bad ass Armson OEG site. Much smaller and lighter.

Nice. I could shoot a barrel full of squirrels - if they would just show themselves...

One of my favorite rifles is a Ruger 10/22 with a full Manlicher stock (they called it the International Model), and a 3X9 scope. It is a tack-driver. I have a couple of .22 handguns, both Rugers as well. One is a Single-Six with .22 and .22 WMR cylinders, and the other is a Bisley Model. Fun to shoot and affordable.

What do you mean they won't be made anymore?

When is this happening? I've wanted one of these and if this is soon, I may have to find some fricken money soon.

The season on Phelps runs through 30 Jan. I'll be done deer hunting on 2 Jan. Maybe we can hit the woods one more time in Jan if you're up to it. There is also a short season in June.

According to my research GSG, the company that manufactured the GSG-5, was sued by H&K with the result that while the remaining models already made may be sold, no more will be manufactured. They DO make other models, like a pretty sharp AK-looking .22 that might be fun. I bumped into that info somewhere on the interwebz.

Speaking of P22's...

Santa brought me a IWB holser for my P22...
a little black Galco stubbie that fits perfectly With my favorite jeans...

That and i found that i was having issues with the .22 bore brush getting fouled and stuck in the P22 barrell, so i got a .17 brush and POLISHED it on the inside...

My entire downstairs smells like Hoppes....
happy holidays.... happy holidays....
Be particular, and be vigilant, as the enemy will only attack on two occasions:
When you're ready or when you're not ready.

Also never forget, that everyone who shows up, is not necessarily there to help.

My buckmark with a custom charging handle and custom safety lever/thumbrest. Yes I realize I have only one scope ring on it  but it is the only way to attach it and still be able to disassemble for cleaning without losing zero.

Never initiate force against another. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.KYFHO
