Chilling 911 Call
Re: Chilling 911 Call
I saw that on channel 10 WSLS local news, home owner will not be charged.
Some people just need killing.
I don't blame the man one bit, he did what needed to be done.

Re: Chilling 911 Call
Justice has been served. It's unfortunate that the guy didn't listen to repeated pleas to leave the premises.
+1 for a man protecting his family.

"I don't want to hurt you." In the end he did what he had to do.
Re: Chilling 911 Call
This guy was so drunk he didn't even know where he was. It cost him his life. This guy had a right to defend himself and his family, and he exercised that right.
Thank God that he protected his family, or otherwise this could have ended very differently. Too bad someone had to lose thier life to stupidity.

Re: Chilling 911 Call
Well, let's outlaw alcohol because it caused the intruder to be drunk.....oh, we already tried that before..

Jody Hoover did the right thing. When your family's life is on the line, its either
the crackpot who broke in's life or you and your family.

Re: Chilling 911 Call
Big probs to Botetourt County Commonwealth's Attorney Joel Branscom for not trying to
create a anti-gun witch hunt in court over a man defending his family with deadly force.
Branscom said he believed that two shots were fired and that the intruder was not carrying a gun.
"So far, from what I've been told, it appears to be justifiable homicide," Branscom said. "If nothing changes, that's where it is headed. When you have someone entering a home in the night and in a threatening manner, it is the kind of thing that rises to the level of justifiable."
