The man held since early this morning in the burglary of Loudoun Guns in Leesburg has now formally been charged by the Leesburg Police Department.
Anthony Rumont Roberts, 20, of Middleburg, was charged today with six counts: burglary, grand larceny, concealing stolen firearms, grand larceny with the intent to sell or distribute stolen property, obstruction of justice and destruction of property. Roberts is being held in the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
The owners of Loudoun Guns are conducting a full inventory of the store to determine how many guns may have been stolen, but Chris Jones, spokesman for the department, said Roberts "was definitely in possession of stolen firearms" at the time of his arrest.
According to authorities, around 3:24 this morning police were called to Loudoun Guns after the store's security system alerted them to glass breaking. When officers arrived on the scene they found the store's front glass door shattered. Roberts was apprehended shortly after the burglary.
Throughout the day, detectives have been interviewing Roberts, attempting to learn about another suspect involved in the crime, but have not been able to gain his identity. The second suspect is described only as a male between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing an orange ski mask and dark clothing.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the police at 703-771-4500. To remain anonymous, call 703-443-TIPS.

Hmm...I guess that guy won't ever legally own a gun. Smooth move!
