Is it legal to buy ammo on-line and have it shipped to my home? I live within the city of Richmond.
I have not asked at my local range and/or gun shop as I believe they would have a biased answer. They would rather I buy it from them, of course.
I am interested in 45-70, and Match quality .308, .223 and .22LR.

I've never been disappointed with buying from them.
There should be no problem getting ammunition shipped to your home.
IIRC it's only primers (not in cartridges) that have to be shipped as hazardous materials.
