Pistol Braces?

Post by dorminWS »

I haven't read any statutes or definitions, but am generally aware that ATF is promulgating regulations to regulate (probably spelled B-A-N) pistol braces. So I'm wondering about my bestest buddy who might still have a broom-handle Mauser pistol with the wooden hollow stock that either converts the weapon to a short-barreled rifle or serves as a wooden holster/case. Is this going to run afoul of these new regs, or is the weapon old enough to be outside the regs?

Gun-crazy? Me? I'd say the gun-crazy ones are the ones that don’t HAVE one.
