-------- SWVA VCDL FALL PICNIC, SEPT 22, 2018, Salem ---------
SW Virginia VCDL will host our fall picnic at LONGWOOD PARK in SALEM, VA
on 22 SEP 2018 for our members, families and their guests. Fellowship
will start at 11 AM; food served at 12 NOON. Speaker(s) to be announced
shortly.
THIS IS NOT our usual "POT LUCK" MENU!
The main course for this picnic will be decided by our members:
The choice is either Roasted CHICKEN or PORK BBQ.
The TOP VOTE TOTALS from the RSVPs received before Sept. 19th 2018
WILL DECIDE the main course!
Please RSVP EARLY and be sure to express YOUR CHOICE for the menu!
SIDES & "FIXINS" WILL INCLUDE: POTATO SALAD, BAKED BEANS, GREEN SALAD,
SLICED TOMATOES & ONIONS, ROLLS plus PEPSI & COKE PRODUCTS TO DRINK,
and HOT DOGS, SWEET RELISH, KETCHUP AND MUSTARD !!!!!!
SW Virginia VCDL is sponsoring this event this year, and will furnish
the food; paper plates; eating utensils; napkins and such for all who
RSVP in advance. PLEASE RSVP with NUMBERS in your group before 19 SEP
2018 so we may purchase the food and prepare such for our enjoyment !!
IF you would like, members may bring a DESSERT to share !!
We already have four nice door prizes: TWO long term storage food items
from COMMANDO SUPPLY; A Concealed Carry FREE class from Charles Dick @
Bryansteen's Gun Store; and a great TRAUMA First Aid Kit from "EM" Member
John Wilburn --and we expect MORE donations closer to the picnic date !!
