When you weigh the circumstances between what Obama did to receive the NPP and what might be happening with the de-nuclearizing of North Korea, the optics aren’t even close.
.
Question, what did Obama do to qualify for his receiving of the NPP? As far as I can remember, he didn’t do anything even close to the level of what President Trump is accomplishing, if fact, what did he accomplish at all to receive the NPP that was awarded to him.
.
Also there have been various members of the NPP committee that have come out publicly and stated that they should have never given it to Obama in the first place.
.
The bottom line is, if this de-nuclearizing of North Korea, probably the largest single event that has happen since the end of WW2 actually comes to a positive conclusion, then Present Trump has accomplished such a major dramatic event that has evaded every President since Bill Clinton and President Trump deserves not only the NPP, but he whole heartedly deserves the gratitude of untold Billions of people around the world.

Who deserves the Noble Peace Prize more?

I think Obama was a smooth talker. He had the ability to present his thoughts that seemed persuasive although he didn't seem to do what he said. Example: "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor". << Thats golden. But later it was modified to be if you like your doctor and we do too you can keep your doctor.
The flip of this quote applies: "Your actions speak so loudly I cannot hear what you are saying". Obama's words covered his actions very well.

Re: Who deserves the Noble Peace Prize more?
The Nobel Peace Prize was founded by the guy who invented Dynamite. Instead of feeling good about creating such a useful substance, he felt guilty about it. So, he founded the Prize to sooth his foolishly guilty conscience.
The Nobel Peace Prize was founded out of silliness, and since then, has gone to a number of people who really didn't deserve any recognition for their efforts towards "Peace". Obama wasn't the first useless waste of space and oxygen to receive the worthless award, nor shall he be the last.
I don't blame Kim for not caring about it; I wouldn't either. If Trump is offered the award (I doubt it would happen; he could negotiate peace agreements, worldwide, and the media would just call him a coward), he'd probably take it. He likes Shiny Baubles and positive recognition; this would offer both.
