So you have started to populate the container? How you plan to solve the humidity and condensation issue?
All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party - Mao Tse Tung

I think I would only use the shipping container for very short time for any firearms. Maybe a longer storage time for some ammo. I've got an old floor freezer that I stored welding rods in for years . I think it would be great to store ammo in while in the container.

I added a flash suppressor to The Ranch and got some 10 rd. mags. I'm really thinking about painting the stock. I've been wanting to paint a stock for a while.

I've been thinking about painting an AR for years... but never had the guts to actually do it. Mostly because I know how hard it's gonna be to strip the paint off when it comes out terrible. LOL
I hear the Aervoe camo spray paint kits are better than Krylon... I may try it this spring.

Re: Monday " Gun Porn "
I helped a friend of mine when he painted a Ruger American Stock. He only painted the stock where as I am thinking that I want to paint the entire gun , scope and all . One thing Ron said after it was finished is it can't be rushed and it does take some planning as too getting the pattern looking just right. He used 3 colors , Sand , Light Chocolate and Black. I'm really think of painting my SKS first , just for the practice , then painting the Ranch.

That sounds good. I have seen guys use actual leafs and grass to get the shapes they want. Pretty cool how well it works.
I think I run my guns too hot to paint the barrel. I would probably need real Cerakote ceramic coating.

Where can you purchase the Aervoe spray paint?
I quickly found out the bullets were for real. Vietnam '66-'67
