“When you’re in an instance where there’s a gun is pointed at you and your life is being threatened for your property and no one’s going to help—and now I know that no one’s going to help—I want to feel more secure. I want to feel safe, and I have something to defend myself with,” he said.

When asked how the situation would have went differently if he had a gun, Young told Bruce Johnson on ‘Off Script’ that he probably would have pulled it out to defend himself.

An anti-gunner is a pro-gunner that hasn't been mugged. . . . . . YET!

Good to hear that he came to that conclusion. Some, having faced a similar situation, would unrealistically insist that banning all guns would solve the problem.

Not even in 300 years would the supply of firearms in the hands of criminals become scarce. After that time size disparity and access to improvised weapons will still leave the smaller and weaker as victims and stealth with improvised weapons will be the modus operandi against larger and stronger victims.
