Paul Ryan Betrays Gun Owners With Nasty Move

When you think of gun control laws, your mind may automatically trail to the Democrats, and in most cases, you would be right. However, Paul Ryan is doing the unthinkable and betraying gun owners around the country.
.
On the September 7th episode of the show Armed American Radio with Mark Walters, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) expressed that he has concern regarding Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) and his views on guns. Ryan is currently trying to stall a bill that would treat concealed carry permits the same way that you would treat a driver’s license — valid in all 50 states, according to Breitbart. This is unsettling and teetering towards a restriction of our Second Amendment rights.

My Thoughts:
.
There’s only one valid reason I would be against this bill concerning using concealed carry permits the same way that you would treat a driver’s license is if there was a requirement to have your name on a government data base identifying your personal info and guns associated with that permit.
.
If they leave your CCW permit info to your local government exactly the way it currently is, without any additional info, then I hope Rep Ryan let’s this go through ASAP.

I agree... but even if it hits the floor for a vote, National CCP has passed the House of Reps for something like 4 years straight, but got crushed by the Senate every time... including last year.

Too many people in politics these days controlled by money interests, not by the people that elected them.

It's bugging me (badly) this year that the people running for election in Virginia are not saying whether they are democrat or republican in their ads on TV. They say what they'll do (just before or after a different ad calls them a liar) but no mention in spoken word or printed word on the screen about which party they are affiliated with.

That may not matter much, in the long run, but it tells me they are already trying to mislead the voters. If you ain't go gumption enough to state what party you run with you won't have gumption enough to stand up for what's right and vote down what's wrong.

True words. I was thinking same thing last week.
All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party - Mao Tse Tung
