Who plans on watching Comey this evening? Should be interesting.
I don't think there is a nickels worth of poop regarding Comey or Russia in this probe. I believe they are trying to find something to attack DJT and initiate an impeachment process.

Re: Comey's inquiry
I watched some this AM. What I saw made it look, to me, like LBJ should have been investigated for "Pierre, eat your beans!", and the subsequent resignation...THE VERY NEXT DAY.

Re: Comey's inquiry
Since I spend most of my time either sleeping, or driving a truck, I don't watch much of anything. Unless, of course, I catch a snippet of something that may be on in a truckstop.
I do, however, read news online. On the topic of Comey, and his testimony, I found this interesting:

Re: Comey's inquiry
Who, in their right mind, admits to leaking government information?
When they've participated in investigating and prosecuting leakers for years??
Who admits to "believing" that they were told to do something illegal/immoral by their boss and then admits to not following the law/rules/policy and reporting it?
Who could work for the Obama/Clinton administration (President and family deeply involved in so much that has been wrong in this country for so many years) and never complain they felt like they were being pressured to ignore crimes but feel pressured by a whisper in his ear in a public meeting with the President?
If I had any respect for Comey after the Clinton e-mail BS it's all gone now.
The proof will be in where he works next. Which liberal/progressive/democratic outfit hires him to provide him with an income for doing this last job for their side.

Re: Comey's inquiry
When Comey was fired, and I observed the ensuing media freak out, I wondered what the act of firing Comey was supposed to distract the media from; in other words, what is Trump REALLY doing?
Today, I read this article:
http://thehill.com/homenews/administrat ... -jobs-push
Contained within, was this quote:
"The White House has been quietly gutting Obama-era employment regulations, targeting everything from overtime laws to federal contract bidding."
Followed by this quote:
"...Trump cannot completely escape the controversy surrounding his firing of Comey..."
Well, then... one kind of has to wonder if that's not by design. If not for Comey, Russia, and other shiney and distracting little hot buttons, I would think that the Media would be ALL OVER the "dismantling of Obama Era regulations", of any sort.
I expect more loud and distracting "Nothings", in the future. This seems to be how Trump gets things done. Give the Media a fake scandal, while they obsess over that, quietly do something productive.
Incidentally, that's a little trick that I generally associate with parenting, not governing. You know, give the kids something that will distract them, and get them out of your hair for 15 minutes, so that you can get the door back on it's hinges, or whatever.
