I've held Fabio in higher regard, ever since the goose incident at Bush Gardens, back in the late 90's. Fabio and the goose were the only injuries; but the goose exploded, and goose blood covered many, many riders.
I knew the marketing director at Bush Gardens; he was the guy responsible for having Fabio there. Fabio was supposed to be part of the marketing campaign for Apollos Chariot.
What the news never reported about the incident, is how Fabio reacted when he got off the ride. He saw all the blood over the other riders, and was very concerned. His handlers were trying to whisk him away, but he wanted to be sure that each and every blood soaked person was fine. He displayed very selfless behavior, that day. That's why I've had respect for him.
Now, I have even more respect for him; it seems that he grasps the full meaning and intent behind the 2nd Amendment.
