Fabio on 2A

"Don't you ever give up your guns," he said. "If people lose that right, forget about it. Politicians — they will take everything away from you. And then what are you going to do, protest with a rock? Because that's what they do in Europe."

Another interesting quote, from the same link:

"He said empires fall 'always because of two reasons — because they were busy fighting each other, and they didn't secure the border.'"

I've held Fabio in higher regard, ever since the goose incident at Bush Gardens, back in the late 90's. Fabio and the goose were the only injuries; but the goose exploded, and goose blood covered many, many riders.

I knew the marketing director at Bush Gardens; he was the guy responsible for having Fabio there. Fabio was supposed to be part of the marketing campaign for Apollos Chariot.

What the news never reported about the incident, is how Fabio reacted when he got off the ride. He saw all the blood over the other riders, and was very concerned. His handlers were trying to whisk him away, but he wanted to be sure that each and every blood soaked person was fine. He displayed very selfless behavior, that day. That's why I've had respect for him.

Now, I have even more respect for him; it seems that he grasps the full meaning and intent behind the 2nd Amendment.

So he's smart and good looking? Some guys have all the luck! Seriously though it's always to good to hear there are a few people in California with some common sense left.

From his Wikipedia page:
Following a burglary in which over $200,000 worth of belongings were stolen,[8] Lanzoni has become an outspoken critic of California gun control legislation, and has broadly supported 2nd Amendment rights.

From more than a few I know, imigrants, they seem to have a stronger support for the 2nd than many of the people raised here.

True, because they have seen what happens when you lose it.

Entitlement breeds complacency.
