The only rational salutation to the little fat boy who rules N. Korea is going to come from China. It’s like he’s Chinas bad dog that keeps on shitting in the neighbor’s yard and they are going to have to curtail this bad dog one way or another.
.
If China stops the delivery of raw goods from N. Korea like what they did yesterday when they returned the shipments of coal from N. Korea and extend that to the items that China sends to N. Korea, which is 90% of their oil, 75% of their food shipments, sooner or later the military there just might over throw the leader of N. Korea before their entire country goes down the tubes.

Re: Taking control of N. Korea
A few days ago, when we launched a few missiles at Syria, that, I believe, was a message to many entities (amusingly, the least important recipient of the message was probably the recipient of the missiles).
N. Korea and China, however, WERE important recipients of the message, and it seems that China received that message, loud and clear. I just hope that what seems to be, actually IS.
Although, since it also seems that N.Korea is utterly incapable of creating effective bombs, it may be a moot point.

Re: Taking control of N. Korea
I believe N Korea is going to push the buttons of Trump and eventually be forced to respond. It should not become an all out war but will be a proving grounds for USA and N Korea military strengths.
I don't think China will get too involved due to the massive exports of their goods to the USA.
Russia may sit back and watch for a while.

Our government is basically telling China to get their unruly child under control or we will.

The MOAB's use was strategic.
North Korea's defenses are fortified in tunnels/bunkers. By using the MOAB and showing what it can do, we effectively told North Korea that their fortifications would not suffice to survive an onslaught by the US.

Actually, we have something even better that the MOAB for that job.
It's the MOP (Bunker buster) or Massive Ordnance Penetrator.
