Browning Pump Shotgun Repair !
Do not take apart a Browning Pump Shotgun ! We worked on my buddies 28 ga. Pump Browning for 3 hours last night and finally figured out what was wrong . It was locked in the open position and would not move forward at all. What was wrong was the lift that picks up the shell was blocking any forward movement . We removed it and polished it up and smoothed it completely (the way it should have been when the "GUN SMITH" replaced it last month )reinstalled it and now it works perfectly . This model is a BPH used only for Skeet shooting and has had thousands of rounds through it. Mike shoots a lot of skeet and usually has a gunsmith do all the work . We took pic's as we were taking it apart and even looked at several YouTube videos as we were working on it . It really wasn't that complicated but a little different than an 870 Remington.

The repairs we made must have taken care of the issue. Mike reported all was good yesterday at his shooting event !

Re: Browning Pump Shotgun Repair !
Just got an email that the Browning is doing great . I am so relieved and a little surprised . Wasn't sure we had everything perfect and would hold up to heavy use. I would be a pretty good gunsmith and do enjoy working on firearms..... if I wasn't so BLIND .
