We are letting our children down

Our children in America are getting the short end of the stick where it comes to receiving a good education with the massive influx of illegal alien children from third world countries.

Unknown hundreds of millions of dollars that should be going to our children’s education is being used to give these illegal alien children an education. One high school principle in NY told Judge Jeanine a Fox News analyst tonight that she has to hire 24 different teachers that can speak the various languages of these illegal alien children and with these illegal alien children in these classes that have these language problems, it takes away from the quality of education of the American children in these classes.

When you have an 18 yr. old being in a 9th grade class in these schools, the disparity between the different age groups is an unrealistic combination that is just asking for problems, just look at the recent rape of the 14 yr. old girl in Maryland that was in the news last week by the two illegal aliens age 18 and 17 from South America.

I understand that 20 yrs. ago the Supreme Court ruled that schools can’t discriminate against these illegal alien children and are required to place them in a school, but the circumstances has changed since then, what there needs to be done is a change with the overall intake of these illegal alien children and instead of accepting the hundreds of thousands of them and sending them all over the country, spend that same money that would be used and send them back to the country where they came from, I know this seems harsh but we have a duty to our own children, and that should come first.

What is happening today is disgusting. The government forces us to give them our money to build schools, forces us to send our kids to go to these schools at the treat of jail or extreme additional cost. Then they indoctrinate our kids and literally create stupid victims.

My heart is broken, but I am grateful my kids came out the other side in one piece.

I might disagree just a little. We aren't forced to send our kids to government indoctrination centers (public schools), but we are forced to see that our kids are educated. My kids never set foot in a public grade school. We scrimped, got some help from family and did without a lot so we could afford to see this through to the end. As a result, when they both went to college (which we also paid for) they came out the other side just as conservative as the day they entered.

We are letting our children down by continuing to allow the federal/union cabal to control education in this country. There are plenty of private education options available. The problem is one of priorities. My wife works at a Montessori school that can take children from 18-months through ninth grade. Many parents start out all gung-ho about it, but quickly lose interest when the cost interferes with their life-style (smart phones, cable, new car every two years, big house, best clothes, etc.).

As parents we prioritize our lives and typically education isn't as high on the list as it probably should be. I'm thankful we all still have the ability to make these choices.
