The real Obama legacy.

Post by mmckee1952 »

In all honesty, there is much to celebrate in the legacy of President Barack Obama. Let's give him credit for the good he has done.
.
The real Obama legacy he leaves behind are:
.
1. A Republican President
2. Republican Vice President
3. Republican control of the Senate
4. Republican control of the House
5. Republican control of 31 state houses
6. A majority of Republican governors…..36 of 50
7. Republican control of a majority of county governments
8. Republican control of a majority of city governments
.
Now THAT is “Hope and Change.” GOD BLESS AMERICA!
.
It's been a long 8 years, now we can breathe again.

This is all good, of course. However, I'm hesitant to have faith in our Republican Congress. Many of them seem to be predisposed to fight Trump on things that they should really be on board with. This is especially concerning, considering that they really should have been applying that fight towards Obama and the Democrat agenda.

I remember, when Obama secured a second term, figuring that he was going to really start in on applying his plan for a weaker America. I also remember thinking that I wanted him to go on and hit it hard. For the most part, he did. My thinking thinking was, that if made a severely hard left turn (which was probable, considering his past associates), it would be too much for the average American citizen to tolerate. Seems that I was right.

Obama has emboldened the left so much, that even now, at the end of February, the cult Marxists STILL behave as though it's campaign season. And, that's the real gift. They have been provoked into such a frenzy, their cause given such a believable (to them) sense of legitimacy, that they are comfortable behaving as they do. They are exposing themselves. It seems that Obama boldly (and, quite arrogantly) turned up the heat under the proverbial frog pot, too much, too soon. Normal Americans noticed, and voted accordingly. And the left seems disinclined to turn the heat back down. This, while obnoxious, is good. Let them keep it up for a while. I don't want the average American to forget.

Yes, Obama's presidency was a catastrophic failure of epic proportions. He is The worst President we ever had. The nation survived and, in some cases, we prospered in spite.

The problems we face now are rooted in two primary problems. One being that Dems are grossly entrenched in the government at key positions and they still impact rules/policy. They other is, Trump is a moderate and the Republican party is more Left leaning today than the Dems were when Kenedy was POTUS.

We still have a he'll of a fight ahead of us to undo the last 80-100 years of the Government being controlled by Dems. Their party has gone so far left that some are admitted Socialists/Communists.
