A short prayer: God, thank you for the blessings you shower upon us every day. We pray that your message will reach more people this year. God, be with those who put themselves in harms way to protect us and our great nation, and God, be with those who suffer and are in need of guidance and solace. We pray that you will be with our leaders in the coming years and offer your guidance for the difficult decisions they will be faced with. Thank you God, for sending your son to suffer and shed his blood for our sins. We offer this prayer in His name, Amen.
