CVA Optima with 2 50gr. 777 pellets and a 300gr. Hornady hollow point sabot on top ignited by a Remington clean bore 209 primer. Goes bang every time

T/C Omega .50 Cal firing a 350 gr. Hornady FPB (no Sabot) with 2 Triple Seven pellets and Remington clean bore 209 primers. Topped with a RedHead 3-9x40 Muzzleloader scope. I've got 4 doe in two season with it, three shots were under 40 yds, the 4th was just under 100. I'd really like to upgrade to one of the T/C models with the speed breach .

CVA Wolf .50 cal, the best shooter I've had price not withstanding. Also have a Navy Arms 1863 Zouave .58 that's a load
of fun.

Re: What kind of muzzleloader/black powder firearms do you have?
T/C Omega .50 caliber, and just picked up a CVA replica 1865 Colt Navy. I think they stopped production on these pistols quite a number of years ago. Haven't shot the Navy yet, but plan to soon.
As long as I'm here, any suggestions on powder for the pistol? Is Bore Butter okay to use to plug the chambers in the cylinder?
Obviously I'm new to black powder pistols, so any suggestions are much appreciated.
