Fredericksburg Gun Show March 14/15

Post by allingeneral »

I have rented a single table at the Fredericksburg Gun Show this weekend. This is my first time venturing into this arena, but hopefully most will go smoothly. I am planning to have some Maglite flashlights, Parts and Accessories on hand from http://www.MagliteSales.com. I will have flyers promoting this forum. I don't know what else I'll have...just playing this one by ear. So, stop on by and say "Hello!"

Here's the flyer - or what I have so far. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears! I think this flyer looks pretty amateur *grumble* I wish I would have thought about this a month ago!

Getting all my Maglite stuff together to head to the show. Got some business cards and flyers being printed at Kinkos as we speak. Will have a computer set up for online browsing and to present some of the videos from the forum.

Stopping by Kinkos at 4 tomorrow, then to Lowe's for a pegboard setup, then to the F'burg Expo to get things set up.

Here's a question for those who have been to a gun show...do I need to take my stuff over there and leave it boxed up overnight, or should I wait until Saturday morning to take everything over there? When Saturday is done...do I pack it up and leave it all there for Sunday, or do I pack it all into the truck and bring it back Sunday morning? Hmm..maybe I should bring a tarp.

So, I'll have the laptop there hooked to an extra LCD monitor and a wireless mouse with the forum up with some videos playing as people pass by the table. Will have www.All-in-General.com in another browser on the LCD monitor. People can use the mouse to navigate the sites or whatever.

I'll have a ton of Maglite flashlights, parts, accessories, holster, belt holders, LED upgrades, etc. I will also offer to fix anyone's broken Maglite for them if they bring it by.

I'll have some business cards and flyers...

Shooeee....

I need to stop by Lowe's to get some pegboard and hooks so I can have a Maglite display rack behind the table... Maybe a couple of 2x4's also...

Was going to go as I am searching for a holster for a semi-auto 1911 type with a 7" barrel. HOWEVER, they are calling for snow, rain, & sleet. I will be staying home. :( Never been there. not sure of the best way to get there from Rt17&95--- guess it doesn't matter now. :( NUTS!!!

I'll see what I can find out on the holster.

Meanwhile, here's a picture of the VCDL booth at the show...

Rick,
Met you at the show. Fellow Navy/OS1. Remember?
As you can see I've registered and am finding my way around your site quite nicely. I think what you've got here is awesome.
I was just looking at the flyer that I picked up at the show. Maybe I'm missing something but I fail to see that "Ameturish" part. None of that matters. What matters is that you're taking the time to provide a much needed service to us and as far as I can see you're providing this on Your nickle. We should all be thanking and applauding you for this. :clapping:
