Olympic memories - 1964

Post by wittmeba »

Every Summer Olympic Event we are reminded of our 1964 season.

While attending James Monroe High School in SFV (North Hills, then Sepulveda) in 1964 our Algebra teacher, Mike Larrabee had to depart for a bit during the semester. He competed in the 1964 Olympics. He won the Gold in the 400 mm and 1600 mm relay.

He was a great person and could relate to his students so very well. After school he would come out and play touch football with students from his classes and a couple other teachers.

We had the highest respect for him.

A Concealed Weapon Permit is nothing more than a permit to allow a LAC to wear a jacket.
