Good News For Bernie Lovers

Bernie Lovers have been, well, Berned by Bernie. He has sold them out. Considering that the man seems to possess neither testicles nor spine, this isn't particularly shocking. The Dems had the game rigged from the start, and Bernie knew that he'd been screwed by the party, and by Hillary, but he endorsed her anyway. If anyone had a right to run 3rd party, it was Bernie. Fortunately, for those who feel Berned, there is Green relief:

I, personally, don't much care for Jill Stein. But, seeing as how I don't expect many of Bernies people to come over to Trump, I will gladly offer Jill Stein up to them, as an alternative to Hillary.

Well, Kelu, I imagine that you would be able to speak to the subject with a greater authority than most.

To be clear, the reason that I'm inclined to point Bernie supporters towards Jill Stein is, of course, to take votes away from Hillary. Not because I actually want to see that dingbat in the Oval Office.

I think if you want some real success in getting Bernie voters to not vote for Clinton, steering them to Johnson is the way to go.

While Jill Stein lines up more with Bernie, she will not be on as many ballots as Johnson and now that the DNC is over will probably never be heard from again. The Bernie supporter is likely to run the numbers in their head and come to the conclusion that Stein has no chance and will begrudgingly vote for Hillary.

Johnson however should be on the ballot in all 50 states and is actually polling in double digits nationwide. He might actually be in the presidential debates. I think he shares enough with Sanders supporters that they will look at him and actually think he has a shot enough to pull the lever for him instead of Hillary.

Although, you are correct about Johnson being on more ballots many Bern supporters won't support him because of his smaller gov't opinion. Many want the free healthcare, free college, higher minimum wage, etc; which is not Johnson.

When I started this thread, I was kinda being facetious. But, I do note that the name of Ms. Stein is showing up a little more frequently than usual, for 3rd party candidates. The exeptions being the occasional Nader or Perot that pop up in history.

We won't get them to vote for trump. That is a bridge too far, but Stein is a good option to siphon off angry Hillary supporters.
