Massachusetts AR style rifle ban

Post by wittmeba »

I just found this and thought it was worth sharing -- the Massachusetts AR style rifle ban.
snippet --- Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey’s gun control logic can be summed up in one amazing pie chart. It shows Ms. Healey is essentially blaming our country’s (and her state’s) violent crime problems on firearms she calls “weapons of war” that, in reality, are responsible for approximately 0.5% of all murders in the state of Massachusetts.

And again I'm sure all the felons with AR's will destroy them, sell them out of state or turn them into law enforcement. We really need to stay alert and protect internet sales particularly ammo. It is in their radar...

What is said about minor tweaks to circumvent the laws can be turned around too. There are no minor tweaks that make these rifles any more deadly than weapons without those tweaks.
A Concealed Weapon Permit is nothing more than a permit to allow a LAC to wear a jacket.

I'm pretty sure that there is a group of people who truly believe that the fatality of a bullet is dependent upon the aesthetics of the gun from which it is fired. These are probably the same people who increased the speed and horsepower of their ragged out Honda Accords and Dodge Neons by applying off centered racing stripes, back when they were in high school.

...and the noise they made was about twice the standard vehicle and only their power was reduced.
