I saw a MPX just the other day...almost brought it home but didn'! A buddy of mine just purchased one and says it's a great shooter.

I'm heading to the range tomorrow. Hopefully you'll have two friends telling you it's a great shooter. LOL.

I'm pretty excited. Once I put some rounds through it and confirm it's all good, I'm going to put a tac light, laser and a red dot. I just don't know if I want to get a can and SBR it or if I should leave it in a pistol config. Everyone loves a 9mm SBR, but if I leave it as a pistol, I can CC it... i.e. leave it loaded an hidden in my vehicle.

So, we had a great time at Elite today! Man, those two pistols are awesome, but...

We hardly shot the Evo due to very poor design of the safety selector switch. It has an ambidextrous safety switch and when it is in the fire position, the lever stabs you in your trigger finger. It is so painful that after 30 rounds, I couldn't shoot it any more. Its been 4.5 hours and there is a slight bruise and it still hurts. Although it shot great and everything else work flawlessly, the Evo isn't seeing any more range time until the selector switch is replaced.

The SIG MPX-P is out-freakin-standing! I can't say enough about it. We sent 650 rounds down range today. Took it out of the box, lubed and inspected it, and then rocked on. It didn't miss a beat. Using a strap as a stabilizer, it is very easy to get carbine-like accuracy out of this pistol. The recoil is so low due to being 9mm, you can do rapid fire with easy return to target after each trigger pull.

Here is a quick video of my friend Kevin and his son shooting it. The video is nothing to write home about, but you can see how easy it is for my friends son, who is young and somewhat inexperienced, can handle it.

When we were shooting the Sig Wednesday ,we were shooting all brands of ammo.....it would eat it all. Even steel cased Tula and aluminum cased Federal . We only had 2 jam's , but I think it was a mag. issue and was easily corrected. We are going to shoot again Tuesday afternoon if Carl can get off work early. I picked up another 800 rds. today and also found 2 Sig mags. at Dances. More fun with more mags.

LOL! Nice! I have to pick up a few more. I am 99% sure this is going to replace my 300BO for home defense once I have a can for it.

I think it would be a perfect home defense weapon . It is so easy to handle and while shooting it I felt like it was hardly any recoil at all! A couple months ago I was considering a Ruger Charger thinking it would be great for a home defense gun , but I wanted something with a little more "Home Defense" in it ! I am seriously thinking about a MPX . Since I already shoot 9mm and got a gazillion rds. It's high on my list .

Okay, anyone who wants to know how much fun the MPX is to shoot, watch this video and look at the smile on this kids face when he's done!

I've shot just about everything out there and the MPX is pretty close to the top of the "FUN" list .

I'll vote scorpion over MPX.

I like the sig well enough, but its priced at the silly level for a PCC.

True... It wasn't cheap. I hope once I get the safety replaced on the scorpion, I will enjoy it just as much. As it stands now, the evo has very little value to me out of the box. My hand is still bruised.

I think my scorp will have much more fun once the form 1 is approved. Still waiting from April. probably still 3 more months.

Oh yea... I'm going to do both a can and SBR. Just need to have my Trust updated due to the new 41F rule.
