Sure is. I am debating on a DA/SA. Friend is telling me it's a different feel, may affect my shooting... but I am thinking, them sure is purty.

Re: I call her....
I will say, before this, all I have owned are Striker fired/Single Action autos...
This one with dry firing? LONG 10lb pull, but I'm okay with that, Sig's don't have "safeties", so I feel a bit better about it.
I know the single action, and SRT is WILD! We're taking "fluttering" the trigger with your finger would make it feel like a crank is on it.

Oh, yea... I love the SRT. Had/have one in all my SIG's. Even my rifles. The factory pistol SRT in the P226 is pretty wicked to say the least.
BTW... a lot of guys I know who own SIG pistols, call that first DA trigger pull the "SIG warning shot"!

Re: I call her....
Shame on me but I like shooting the 226 single action exclusively. It's not realistic, but is more funner.

Hahaha. At least you will have it down pay if you need it in a defense situation.

1911 for self defense. 226 for fun, but don't let me see a knife within 50 yards...that's the 50 yard rule.

Re: I call her....
My friend, Aaron, has the Legion, and my other friend, Greg, has the Enhanced Elite. Both P226's with the DA/SA...
That's why I have been searching for so long. You shoot those? It's like buttah!
Now? I wouldn't mind having a EAA Witness in 9mm. The old "CZ" format was ALWAYS my favorite!

Love my plain, vanilla P226. Gave my son the "SEAL" P226. Damned great workhorse.

The EAA's are sleek, alright.
I see them for sale all the time...I'm sure one will follow me home sooner or later.

A shooting buddy of mine picked up one a couple months ago. I've shot it many times....You are really going to enjoy it.
