In New York state, possession of a magazine with a capacity of greater than ten rounds is a CLASS D VIOLENT FELONY which is a serious crime. The list below includes only crimes that are LESS serious than owning a standard capacity magazine in New York. It's sickening.

How do they classify it as violent felony when no violence has been committed?

It was over 20 years ago that my family moved us out of that hell hole. I try to keep my trips back there rare and short.

I remember trips up there when Guiliani was mayor... it was a nice town.... Now? I won't even go into Maryland.

and I dearly miss Pennsylvania... I thought that was some of the pretty country around... Too bad it got lumped in with the looney bin.

If you get a chance, go farther north up around Bradford County and west. That area is referred to as the Endless Mountains, and the Laurel Highlands are up there as well. There is a town up there (can't remember the name), but they still have gas streetlamps. And that isn't far from the Eastern Grand Canyon. Some very pretty land up there.dusterdude wrote:I just got back from the area of pa north of harrisburg today, beautiful area

Not a fan of PA, though the land is pretty.
