Is there a rule against resurrecting old threads?
I have seen posters get yelled at for not using the search function but not old threads.

Yeah, I think that there is some interwebs law against the resurrection of old posts, but I note that old threads get reloaded around here a couple times a month.
Never bothered me much; doesn't hurt to revisit old conversations, at least, not usually.

Btw, resurrecting an old post to ask about resurrecting old posts is funny.

I don't mind someone resurrecting an old post just as long as the new post is on topic.
