We need to research smart pill bottle technology so prescribed medication containers can only be opened by the prescribed patient. We need mandatory locking medicine cabinets, patients need to report stolen medication to police, and we need to really scrutinize doctors that are writing these prescriptions.

Don't forget the background checks and mental health status of the user. Got to make sure they aren't going to misuse them or sell them to someone who shouldn't have them. We might need a 9 month registration process for every pill in the prescription so we know if they give them to a person that they weren't prescribed too.
