I haven't looked for specific references, but I remember some of it being in the news as it was acquiring. Especially lobbying for instant background checks to prevent delays of acquiring arms.
I guess because I saw this stuff unfold, I figured everyone would remember. I forgot that young people may not have that exposure and the lying left needs to be beat to death with overwhelming facts before they stop lying; not concede or tell the true... just to shut them up.
I'm sure with minimal effort, it is all able to be confirmed.
