I'm not "preaching " (well maybe I am) but what would happen if while you were shooting 'into the ruins' of this building , you accidently killed a homeless person?

I thinks it's safe to say as responsible shooters we will have predetermined where the projectile will come to rest before pulling the trigger... As a boy I read an article in Reader's Digest about a young woman killed in her car by a stray .22LR fired on water from over a mile away. The round passed through an open window and hit her behind the ear. The investigators had a devil of a time determining cause of death because the wound was hidden and didn't bleed.
That story stuck with me and changed my shooting habits from that day forward. (Plus I like the idea of recycling my lead) :hypocrite:

Well I have to say that this thread is the kinda thing the gun grabbers love to read. So you all know, I find VGOF posts quite frequently when googling for gun related info. Who knows how many people someone like bloomberg has doing the same thing only looking for stuff like this rather than load data for a new cartidge.

Not really. Its sometimes hard to throw out your $0.02 and try to consider if folks see it coming from "dk the right wing extremist" or "dk mr mod" or both

Like some people here I shoot anywhere I want to with whatever I want to on my place. I do have a benchrest 100 yard range and a pistol 25 and 50 yard range along with a small trap range.

Bill, I have to get a plug in for you here.

Folks, Bill not only has a nice place to shoot but provides sound advice on shooting, tactics, and personal defense. He's worked on a couple of my guns and improved performance 100% as easy as saying hello. A trip to Bill's place is not only an opportunity to shoot, but to learn, have good conversation, and make new friends. If you get an opportunity to spend time with Bill I highly recommend you jump on it.

I do have a 25 yard pistol range that is just behind my house, I'm also lucky in the fact that my land actually touches K.C. Youngs Gun Range in eastern Hanover County...so if I need to do some rifle shooting...he's pretty close.

Tell K.C. I said hello. I haven't seen him in about 20 years.

I think my neighbors in my townhouse 'hood might have a little something to say about it if I did. :hysterical:
